Oh no!

swell
I hope it is not what is going to happen to my brain after tonight!

I am not saying good bye. I am leaving the door wide open!

Professor Santurii asked if we feel that we might use the 2.0 web tools in the classroom. I think I can answer for all of us- "Yes". Once you see how the lesson could change from the ground of using dry article and ten year old picture to having students post their pictures and opinions to the blog, edit their papers in wiki, search on the Google earth and use the 3d word graphic organizer. Once you get the feel of how amazing, thrilling, exiting time in the lesson students could have, there is no coming back!

Chapter 3

In chapter 3, Will Richardson makes a really good point that it is important “to start small” introducing students to posts on something interesting that they read or did. It is also a teacher’s responsibility to assure safety when blogging with students. Will Richardson states that it is important to obtain parents’ and administrators’ consent on publishing information about the students on the web blog. Once more, integrating blogs and 2.0 web tools is imperative for effective students learning.
